I acknowledge and accept the following:
FEES AND PAYMENT
1.1) All payments are processed as online transactions. Before a lesson is booked full payment is required for the lesson or package.
1.2) All payments for packages must be made in full unless the package was bought as a ‘Drive now pay later’ product.
1.3) No installments or post payments are accepted unless the package was bought as a ‘Drive now pay later’ product.
1.4) Due to constant fuel increases lessons prices are subject to change at any time.
2.1) A learner driver must carry a copy of his/her learners license for all driving lessons.
2.2) Pick up and drop off services are provided for all code 8 lessons and is included in lesson time.
2.3) A learner driver must not use foul or racist language. The instructor reserves the right to stop the lesson at any time.
2.4) Any change of pick up address/location must be communicated with the instructor 24 hours in advance.
2.5) Learner drivers must constantly keep track of their lesson numbers and must request a progress report from the driver instructor on a regular basis.
2.6) The learner driver is allowed to cancel the lesson without being liable for the lesson if the instructor for any reason is more than 20 minutes late. In this case the learner driver will not be held accountable for the lesson and it must be rescheduled.
3.1) All lessons must be cancelled in a formal way with a 24 hour notice of the cancellation failure to communicate within 24 hours of the lesson will result in the learner driver being billed for the full duration of time reserved.
3.2) If for any reason the learner driver needs to cancel due to medical reasons a doctor’s note must be furnished to the driving instructor. If no doctor’s note is received the learner driver will be billed for the full duration of the lesson.
4.1) We have a no cash refund policy
4.2) In the event of the student seeking a refund a credit voucher will be issued.
5.1) A credit voucher is filled with credit that can only be used for services at DriveSA. There is no cash on a voucher, only DriveSA credit.
5.2) All vouchers will expire 180 days after issue.
6.1) We are in compliance with the traffic regulations and all our vehicles are fully insured as well as all students.
6.2) In an event of an accident the student will not be liable for any costs.
7.1) All bookings have to be made at least 48 hours in advance.
7.2) We might not be able to assist with short notice bookings.
7.3) It is recommended that the student pre books all lessons at the start of the service
8.1) We will provide a roadworthy vehicle for the learner driver to complete his/her drivers license test.
8.2) The learner driver has to report to the drivers license test 15 minutes before test start. The learner driver is liable for the time as the vehicle and the instructor also has to be present.
8.3) In the event of the vehicle being failed for any reason, we will take full responsibility and rebook a test for the learner driver. We will cover all administration cost and issue a complimentary lesson as well as car hire on test day at no charge.
8.4) We cannot take responsibility for the learner driver not being successful for any reason, but we take responsibility for the roadworthiness of the vehicle provided.
9.1.1) The tariffs mentioned in clauses 1, 6 and 8 applies if the learner driver uses a vehicle provided by DriveSA. If a learner drivers uses his/her own vehicle DriveSA cannot be held liable for:
9.1.2) Personal injuries sustained by the learner driver or any third parties;
9.1.3) Damage to the learner drivers vehicle or vehicle of any third party;
9.1.4) Any damage to property.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
10.1) Learner drivers are not permitted to eat, drink or smoke while in the vehicle on a lesson.
10.2) DriveSA is in compliance with the road and traffic regulations and the use of cellphones while on a driving lesson is not permitted.
